A national property maintenance specialist has agreed a three-year contract to deliver vital repairs and refurbishments to properties managed by Staffordshire Housing Group.
Novus Property Solutions will provide responsive repairs to over 2,600 Staffordshire Housing Group properties and will assign 115 staff to the project to ensure all repairs can be delivered promptly.
The £1million contract will also deliver void repairs when tenants vacate properties in order to bring properties up to the very best possible standard so that they can be let out to new occupants.
Mark Wilkinson, Staffordshire Housing’s property services manager, said: “We are delighted to appoint Novus as our responsive repairs contractor. They have a reputation of delivering customer focused services and we’re really looking forward to using their knowledge and skills to improve the service we provide to our customers. We are proud to be supporting local business within the North Staffordshire area.”
Matt Rolnik, operations manager at Novus, said: “We go the extra mile to make sure that the job gets done to the highest standard, and that residents feel safe and comfortable when any repairs are taking place in a live environment. During the course of this project, we will be running coffee mornings for residents, and giving them the chance to meet with Novus operatives and ask any questions they might have about the work being done. In this way, we ensure that lines of communication are kept open and the work is carried out in a spirit of cooperation, with maximum consideration for the health, safety, and comfort of residents.”
