The Mechanical Services team at builder and developer, Seddon, has successfully secured its place on Bolton at Home’s Heating Maintenance, Servicing and Responsive Repairs framework after a competitive retender bid.
The new two-year contract strengthens Seddon’s relationship with the Bolton-based social housing charity, which has seen the contractor’s Mechanical Services team provide repairs and maintenance across 21 housing sites for the past 10 years.
Work will be carried out on communal boilers and energy plants which provide 800 homes in the area, including those purchased under the Right to Buy scheme, with heating and hot water.
As part of the work, Seddon will deliver expert servicing to gas-fired, biomass, solar and domestic air-source heat pump units.
The contract also includes a 24-hour call-out service to provide day and out of hours maintenance support to tenants.
