Shaylor Group has announced its appointment to the new Department for Work and Pensions Estates Contractor Framework. The framework will see appointed contractors deliver minor works and refurbishments for the DWP’s network of Job Centres and offices. The framework will also be made available to other Government departments and public sector bodies who have a similar estate type and profile of projects.
The four-year framework is split into three Lots, of which Shaylor Group successfully bid for a place on two, covering projects with construction values below £2m. The company have secured a place on both Lots one and two, being the solely appointed contractor for works under the value of £250k covering much of central and eastern England. On Lot 2, covering projects between £250k and £2m, Shaylor Group will also be delivering works across central, eastern and the south east of England.
The appointment builds on Shaylor Group’s accomplished reputation in the fit-out sector and rapidly growing list of framework successes. In particular, their public sector expertise covers framework agreements with HMRC, Mapeley Estates, the Ministry of Justice and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
CEO Stephen Shaylor commented “Being appointed to this framework fits directly with our strategic goals of planned and managed growth in stable environments. We are excited to bring our extensive experience both in fit-out and working with government bodies to this framework and look forward to a collaborative experience for all parties.”
