Goals Soccer Centre is planning an £11.5m refurbishment and rebranding programme across its nationwide network of five-a-side complexes.

The company will be initially spending £3.5m on a “catch-up programme” between July and August to upgrade 55 pitches and install new LED floodlights.

It will then launch a £7.9m programme of clubhouse refurbishments.

The company said: “A new brand vision has been developed and will be retrofitted to upgrade the estate to enhance Goals’ market leading position. Selected, higher potential centres will be significantly redesigned and facilities relaunched to drive enhanced returns. All centres will benefit from the refurbishment and remodelling of reception and changing areas, new signage to increase local penetration, upgraded   cafe facilities, external improvements and the utilisation of unused space. “

The new look will be trialled at two pilot centres this Autumn then rolled out across the entire estate during a two year programme.
