Discount supermarket Aldi has set out plans for a £300m overhaul of its UK stores after reporting record sales of £7.7bn last year.
Over 100 stores will be refurbished and up to 70 new stores built across the UK in 2017, adding to its 659-strong portfolio.
Aldi and Lidl remain Britain’s fastest-growing supermarkets with a combined market share of 10.8 percent, according to the latest industry data.
