As part of a large renovation project transforming the historic Calderstones Mansion into The International Centre for Shared Learning, registered charity The Reader required new catering facilities across three areas of the impressive Liverpool-based building. C&C Catering Equipment Ltd were delighted to be involved along with both subsidiary companies C&C Catering Engineers Ltd and C&C Catering Fabrications Ltd.
With installation beginning in March 2019 for canopies and coldrooms, followed by kitchen kit in June and training and handover at the end of July, C&C Catering Equipment were involved with the scheme for several months. The company worked across the cafe kitchen, banquet kitchen, and basement washup and pantry area, collaborating with other trades including a shopfitter who created a green cafe counter. Main brands on the project included LeighTec, Rational, Foster, Electrolux and C&C Catering Fabrications, with John Turner as Main Contractor.
Project Manager Andy Pace commented, “It’s been great working at this fantastic building in Liverpool and to have been involved with this project along with the rest of The C&C Group. We’re really pleased with the final result and it’s been nice to work with John Turner Construction again following on from Ruthin School.”
