The Dulux Academy has been shortlisted for the Marketing Society’s 2018 Excellence Awards in the Building Customer Relationships category. As the UK’s leading marketing awards, the Excellence Awards celebrate the great work of both agencies and brands from around the world.

The Building Customer Relationships category is dedicated to entrants that can provide evidence of an improved relationship with their customer base, evaluating customer insight as well as customer loyalty. Committed to the belief that the industry has a responsibility to invest in attracting new talent, whilst providing the means to upskill the existing workforce, it is important that the Dulux Academy not only continues to introduce new attendees to its extensive course prospectus, but also ensures that relationships with existing alumni are nurtured to secure repeat visits.

As the UK’s first dedicated training centre for professional painters and decorators, Dulux Academy is the home of painting and decorating excellence. Since its launch in March 2016, the Dulux Academy has welcomed over 3,750 course attendees. From apprentices just starting out in the industry, to the self employed decorator with over 20 years of experience, visitors to the Academy can learn new application methods, as well as develop a vast array of skills and techniques.
