Leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, Edmond Shipway, has been named as an approved supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Construction Consultancy Services Framework.

Under the four year deal the business will now be eligible to tender for quantity surveying and project management roles on a host of public sector developments in eight of a possible 12 regions across the UK. Schemes will range in value from approximately £100,000 to upwards of £5 million, encompassing everything from small scale refurbishments to expansive new builds.

The NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Construction Consultancy Services Framework was designed to provide best value and greater consistency of service provision for NHS organisations, offering a compliant route to market to access relevant services.

Neil Dowsett, Director of Edmond Shipway who headed up the bid, said: “This appointment marks a significant success for the business as it opens up a raft of opportunities for us, both within the NHS and throughout the public sector. New and existing clients will be able to benefit from our extensive knowledge of the health sector on everything from feasibility studies, through to procurement and project delivery.”

The NHS SBS Construction Consultancy Services Framework will run until 31st March 2022.
