Director Bill Bordill Becomes First Member of Decipher Consulting Team Appointed to RICS President’s Panel List of Construction Adjudicators
Decipher Consulting are delighted to announce that Bill Bordill is the first member of the Decipher team to have been appointed to the RICS panel of construction adjudicators. Having undertaken a number of roles as Adjudicator and undergone a lengthy process of training and mentoring, Bill joins a list of some of the most respected construction dispute resolvers.
RICS nominates Construction Adjudicators under the provisions of the Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, and also under contract. The majority of members on these panels are Chartered Surveyors, but members of other professional bodies such as Architects or Engineers are also able to join the panel to enable RICS to make appropriate appointments.
Bill was particularly impressed by the mentoring and induction process which was extremely rigorous. The process involved a number of test and peer reviewed decisions and lengthy one-to-one mentoring, familiarisation training and a panel interview as well as checks for experience and knowledge of both construction and law.
