Stortford Interiors (UK) has secured the fit-out package from Sir Robert McAlpine on its revamp of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The project includes the fit-out of the new hospital and administration building’s reception, assembly rooms and cellular office and meeting spaces and is expected to be completed by April.

The world famous charity takes in over 8,000 dogs and cats every year.

Scott Shearing, BD & Pre-Construction Director of Stortford Interiors said: “It’s a great honour for Stortford Interiors to secure this project and to deliver our fit-out solutions for such a well-respected charity and help support their great work.  The wide-ranging scope enables us to showcase our product and interface knowledge and provide the best solutions for the client. By working in close conjunction with our joinery division, Parkrose, we can ensure consistency and the highest levels of quality throughout delivery. We’re confident the finished product will meet everyone’s standards, including our four-legged friends! ”

Mark Leeming, Project Manager for Sir Robert McAlpine, added:  “We are glad to have Stortford on board. Combining multiple internal fit-out packages within one makes a huge amount of sense both commercially and through resolving the interface and tolerance issues to ensure that a quality product is achieved.”
