Contractor Forrest has been appointed to three new-build frameworks across the north, collectively worth up to £725 million over four years.
Forrest’s appointment to the Innovation Chain North West framework, valued at £500 million, will involve construction of residential-led developments across the north for a number of housing groups including Great Places. Forrest is one of eight contractors appointed to all three lots and contracts are expected to be in excess of £1.5m each.
The contractor has also been appointed to Broadacres Housing Associations £150 million capital works contractor framework. The programme will deliver an estimated 1,500 new homes for the framework’s seven members across Yorkshire and Forrest’s appointment to Lot 2 will see the company work on contracts of value up to £3 million.
An estimated £75 million of work is due through Thirteen Housing Group’s contractor’s framework. Alongside five other contractors, Forrest will deliver works on two of the four lots for new build housing in the North East.
