Get up to speed on the new technology that is slashing plant and machinery emissions, increasing construction output and making construction sites safe and compliant. This is just one benefit of attending this year’s Plant and Machinery Live, between 9-11 October, as part of UK Construction Week (UKCW).
The ‘Future of Construction’ is the theme of Plant and Machinery Live, tooling plant and machinery buyers and sellers up with the construction knowledge of the future. An Innovation Trail and the Future of Construction Hub, in collaboration with Birmingham City University, offers an immersive opportunity for professionals to discover digital construction, 3D printing, robotics, AI and AR and modern methods of construction. Visitors can also experience the state of the art construction simulator from Coventry University.
Suppliers and exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions, discuss issues and explain products. Exhibitors already announced include: Doosan Industrial Vehicles, GGR Group, and Premier MBP.
Auto Windscreens will be talking about its new electric vehicle charging points, the first in the UK offered by a glass repair and replacement provider, and how their newly formed Elite Windscreen Technical Division is enhancing its award-winning service.
Kranlyft will be discussing its recently launched Klaas truck offering, bringing innovation, quality and reliability to construction sites across the UK, Ireland and Sweden.
Nathan Garnett, UKCW event director, said “If you work in the construction industry, it’s a must-attend event. It’s an opportunity to try out tools and machinery, see new products, discuss a deal with a supplier, meet with your peers and hear what’s going from leading industry experts.
“For any forward-thinking business, the knowledge that will be taken away is invaluable.”
The show also features live and interactive demonstrations of some basic manoeuvres such as earth moving, alongside a vast display of equipment, ready for visitors to get to grips with.
