Ecobuild, the must-go-to event for forward-thinking professionals in the built environment, has announced a host of renowned global names exhibiting at the 2018 show, which will take place from 6th to 8th March 2017 at ExCeL London. The list includes a range of returning long-time partners showcasing new developments and exciting projects alongside innovative exhibitors making their debut at the show.
Over 450 exhibitors will showcase their expertise across eight futurebuild districts – Concrete, Timber, Energy & HVAC, Green & Blue Infrastructure, Infrastructure, Offsite, Building Performance and District Energy – which will surround the conference arena and sustainability showcases, hosting innovative solutions and ideas to some of the built environment’s biggest issues.
Among the extensive list of companies that will be sharing their sustainability strategies, products and solutions at the event is ROCKWOOL. The advanced building insulation provider is dedicated to tackling today’s biggest sustainability and development challenges, with particular focus on educating the building and construction industry on fire safety. Joining ROCKWOOL on the list of newcomers to ecobuild, is precast concrete specialist FP McCann, a big player in the development of offsite precast modular building structures. Daikin UK, a leading manufacturer and supplier of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) equipment, is another newcomer to the 2018 event, and will be showcasing its range of products and solutions.
First-time exhibitor Innovate UK, which has been successfully commercialise world-class UK research for the last 10 years, will be offering businesses expert advice and support in getting to market, and scaling up.
This year’s event will also host the high-profile product launch of Airlite, a revolutionary paint technology turning walls into natural air purifiers. Airlite; which is pollution neutralising, bacteria and mould preventing and air filtering; will be demonstrated with attendee participation at each end of this year’s central walkway, named the Airlite Drive.

As well as a host of first-time exhibitors, ecobuild 2018 will see the return of some big industry names following their success at last year’s event. The extensive list includes modular construction giant, Portakabin; which will be showcasing its solutions for both interim and permanent bespoke offsite modular buildings; and construction material expert, Saint-Gobain, which is also sponsoring this year’s main conference programme.
CEMEX, one of the world’s leading providers of concrete, aggregates and admixtures, is also returning to ecobuild, showcasing the work of its Global Research and Development centre in developing pioneering concrete designs for today’s demanding industry. Returning for its eighth year, Innasol Ltd will be presenting its offering of smarter, cleaner and more cost-effective ways to heat and power homes and businesses. Another returning giant is Uponor, providers of plumbing, underfloor heating, local heat distribution and infrastructure solutions. This year, Uponor will be promoting its range of pre-insulated pipes, including products which offer a 40% improvement in heat loss.
Joining the list of high-profile returning exhibitors is ACO Technologies, showcasing its unique and pioneering solutions for surface water management, offering high performance, long life and environmental excellence. Following the sustainability trend, Bauder will also be returning to exhibit, offering its expertise in renewable energy generation and green roofs as well as insulation and waterproofing solutions. Innovative utility metering specialist, Diehl Metering, is another returning to this year’s event, with a showcase of its high quality meters and cutting edge IoT digital communications.
