Apex Lifts is delighted to receive a Gold Medal for the eighth consecutive year at the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Health and Safety Awards 2017. The accolade was for the ‘Achievement’ category recognising Apex Lifts’ exceptional approach to health and safety.

Only given to winners with five or more successive Gold prizes, Apex had to submit a detailed entry in order to take home the Gold Medal for a further year, providing evidence of compliance and excellence against a strict set of Health and Safety criteria laid down by RoSPA. The performance indicators in which Apex excelled included; high levels of compliance with risk measures and low rates of error, harms and loss, a rigorous approach to occupational health, no fatal or major injuries due to employer negligence and excellent occupational health and safety management systems.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said, “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world for occupational health and safety, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.” She continued, “This is a special year in the history of RoSPA, and we congratulate all of our winners in this, our centenary year.”

“We are thrilled to receive the award from RoSPA for the eighth time” said Jim Johnson, HSQE Manager at Apex. “We pride ourselves on maintaining best practice for health and safety at Apex Lifts; it’s the back bone of our company and integrated into everything we do. Being recognised for our hard work is a great privilege to everyone at Apex Lifts.”
