Leading building services provider J S Wright has won a contract worth more than £1.5m to fit out one of London’s most exclusive new residential developments.

The award-winning company, which has offices in Birmingham, Bristol and London, will provide the services for 18 luxury apartments and penthouses at Hanway Street in the West End neighbourhood of Fitzrovia.

The Galliard Homes scheme, to be known as Hanway Gardens, represents Phase 2 of Oriana, a joint venture between Land Securities and Frogmore for the development of 26 to 48 Oxford Street.

The individually designed properties have been set over six storeys of an historic building with a retained listed façade and new multi-level roof gardens.

Galliard Homes has commissioned J S Wright to install a range of services including an energy efficient variable heating and cooling system that delivers exactly the required levels of comfort to each space, boosted hot and cold water supplies, underfloor heating to wet areas, sanitary ware and automatic water sprinklers.

J S Wright has already started work on the 12-month project, the sixth that the company has been awarded by Galliard Homes over the past six years.

The company is currently working for Galliard Homes on its new Capital Towers development – two residential towers of 14 levels and 34 levels at Stratford in East London – and its 423-apartment scheme at Indescon Court in Millharbour.

Marcus Aniol, Managing Director of J S Wright, said: “We are delighted that our skills and expertise combined with our excellent working relationship with Galliard Homes have resulted in yet another opportunity to reinforce London’s reputation for offering world-leading luxury accommodation.”

J S Wright, which was voted UK Building Services Contractor of the Year for 2015, specialises in the design and installation of mechanical services for the hotel, residential, social housing, student accommodation, leisure and commercial sectors.
