The 16,000 sq ft project at Quay Point, Lakeside, will transform three-floors of Strata’s existing office building which was constructed back in 2003, bringing it up to date and into stronger alignment with the company’s ethos and culture.

Strata is a £120m-turnover business and currently has 20 developments across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Building over 600 homes a year, the company has plans to grow to 800 homes annually by 2020.

Paragon CEO Gary Perry believes both businesses share a philosophy that places customers at the heart of the process and is delighted to be working alongside such a forward-thinking business.

“Strata and Paragon are in similar industries, construction, and we both have exceptional design at the core of our offering. The key to success is to put the customer journey and experience at the heart of everything that we do.

“Strata has a fantastic reputation for customer service and that is no accident, it is embedded deep within its culture. Our design will ensure that the company’s values are reflected and even enhanced, creating a new office for this fantastic organisation.”

Paragon will commence work on site imminently, with a 28-week project schedule. The design will create better flow and communication across the whole business by encouraging collaboration. With flexibility and openness designed into the new layout, cellular offices will be removed, including those of senior management, enhancing the natural light and making the most of the stunning views over the surrounding lake.

Andrew Weaver, Strata’s Chief Executive comments: “Our business has changed significantly since we first moved to Doncaster, so it’s only natural that we want to make changes that support our future, enhancing the way we work better and importantly how we engage and interact with our customers. This investment certainly marks a very exciting time for Strata.”
