NOVUS DELIVERS HOTEL UPGRADE

Novus Property Solutions has showcased its expertise in leisure sector refurbishment with the upgrade of a busy hotel in Bournemouth.
The works included a full update of the Elstead Hotel’s reception and dining areas, and new carpets were fitted in corridors throughout the building.
Timing was vital to the success of the project, as the Elstead required that normal trading hours be kept throughout and that the hotel’s many functions, bookings and events ran without interruption.
Novus’ long experience of delivering refurbishments to busy public facilities and leisure establishments helped the company to win the £37,000 contract, and to complete the project within the agreed two-week timescale.
Ray Fielder, operations manager at Novus, said: “Our experience in working on similar projects, with similarly tight timescales, was instrumental in the smooth-running of this refurbishment.
“Hotels can’t afford to have downtime, and our team has the expertise and knowhow to deliver first class refurbishment work – without causing a disturbance to hotel staff or customers.”
Graham Phillips, managing director of the Elstead Hotel, said: “I would like to thank Novus Solutions for the excellent work achieved by the team.
“We all knew the task was a challenging one in that we only had a short window of time to complete the refurbishment of the dining room and reception area before the hotel re-opened for a large conference.
“The initial meetings provided excellent design ideas, and after agreeing the final carpet design, paint specification and some novel ideas to enhance the interior, work was carried out efficiently by a team of skilled tradesmen.
“We continued to remain open in other parts of the Hotel and the team worked tidily and with respect to our customers and staff throughout the process.”
