Novus Property Solutions is creating 32 new residences on the site of the former Westway public house in Highfields, Stafford, bringing a much-needed boost to the area.
More than 20 disused garages on the site have been demolished in order for the regeneration to take place, and work has begun on the creation of two new blocks of flats and 14 new houses.
Novus is working with Jennings Design Associates on the contract for Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH), and Novus has also enlisted ABA consulting to oversee the structural and draining designs for the project, which is scheduled to complete in January 2017.
The construction work will involve the careful consideration of an electrical substation on the site, and the new properties will also be created without disturbance to the sewers that exist in the area.
The entire project will fulfill the requirements of the Considerate Contractors Scheme, and Novus has liaised closely with King Edward VI High School, which occupies an adjacent site, to ensure the construction work does not affect school staff or students.
