It’s full steam ahead for Nullifire, a brand of Construction Products Group Europe (CPG), who is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the passive fire protection industry and the team behind the brand is looking forward to marking the occasion in style.
Priding itself on being the only manufacturer of both intumescent coatings and fire stopping products, Nullifire has earned a reputation for continuous investment to research and development, allowing them to remain at the forefront of passive fire protection innovation.
Throughout 2023 so far, Nullifire has brought a number of key fire protection technologies to fruition, reaffirming their commitment to protecting people and buildings from fire. The relaunch of Nullifire FB750 Intubatt Coated Batthas brought to market a new and improved version of the product that customers across the UK and Ireland know and love. Having listened to their highly valued feedback, this six-year-long project has produced a much crisper, lighter, less fragile, easier to cut and handle solution. Guaranteeing the same rigorous testing, certification, and price, the new FB750 provides up to 4 hours fire resistance and contains Nullifire’s unique Optifire traceability technology.
Also springing from the launchpad is the introduction of Nullifire’s Cavity Barriers range. This fully EN tested range of closed and open state cavity barriers offers a huge selection of high-performance results, utilising different substrates, different insulation types, and a variety of cavity widths and air gaps. Designed to prevent the spread of fire and hot gasses through the cavity wall, Nullifire’s cavity barriers range works to seal off the gap in the cavity when exposed to fire. The technology strives to contain the fire to a compartmentalised space for a specified period, enabling occupants to evacuate the building safely.
Supporting Nullifire’s reputation for dedication and tenacity to fire safety performance, is the launch of the FZ100 Fire Safe Zone. Uniquely engineered to meet the requirements of the Offsite Construction sector, FZ100 is a ground-breaking fire barrier slab based on patented, Graphite eXpansion Technology (GXT), and provides best-in-class fire stopping capabilities to existing and future service penetrations. This quick and easy-to-install product is fully tested to BS EN 1366-3 up to EI120, lending itself to the fast-paced environments of offsite construction projects.
Gary Pullinger, Sales Director for Nullifire, said: “It has been a big year for Nullifire so far, with the evolution of numerous technologies finally being brought to market, just in time for the 50th anniversary.
