The course will take place at the King’s Manor – one of York’s most attractive and unusual historical sites. Originally the Abbot’s House of St Mary’s Abbey, the King’s Manor served the Tudors and Stuarts as a seat of government, becoming residences in the 18th century and a school in the 19th. Now home to the University of York, hidden in the heart of York city centre, the King’s Manor is a Grade I listed building. The Manor’s grounds back on to the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey.
King’s Manor is located in Exhibition Square which is a short walk from York city centre and the railway station.
