Oulton Hall, the 18th century mansion turned hotel, spa and one of the country’s top golf courses, is to recieve a major upgrade.
The popular Leeds leisure destination is part of the UK’s largest golf resort operator, QHotels.
Furniture, furnishings and decor will be modernised and will offer the latest technology to enhance the golfing and hotel experience, including bedside USB charging points and new safes specifically designed for portable computer devices and a laptop drawer with lighting for easy access and use.
The accommodation on offer will be broadened to include twin rooms available for golf groups and upgraded LED lighting will be fitted to enhance the working environment in rooms for leisure and business travellers. WiFi will also be upgraded to better cope with the needs of modern visitors.
General Nanager of Oulton Hall Claire Steven, said: “To continue to offer the very best experience for our guests, it’s important that we’re not only listening to our customers but taking their feedback on board to evolve and enhance the facilities at Oulton Hall. The refurbishment will benefit all the different types of guests we welcome, from hotel, golf and spa leisure guests to business travellers and those attending conferences and events.”
The investment by QHotels – which owns ten golf resorts across the UK is part of a bigger £50 million investment this year.
