The regeneration of Wembley looks set to continue as plans to transform Amex House are submitted to Brent Council. In these proposals, London residential developer Anthology sets out its vision to convert the 1.6 acre site, which formerly served as an office base for a civil engineering firm, into 195 homes. Amex House was formerly home of civil engineering contractor Durkin & Sons.
The sleek, curved shape of the building has been designed to reflect the course of the Wealdstone Brook to the north of the site. The environment will be further enhanced with landscaped gardens, a communal courtyard and a light and airy aspect. Anthology is hoping to receive planning approval this summer before construction work starts in the Autumn. A contractor is due to be appointed shortly.

The development, designed by GRID Architects, will include a mixed tenure of affordable and private homes. It also enjoys excellent transport links with Wembley Park Stations just a three minute walk away offering connections to the Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines.
The completion of the development is expected to be in 2018.
