Prequalification is getting underway for firms to maintain the bluelight estate across Greater London.
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime is first looking for a single project manager to assess and oversee delivery of the emergency services estate planned maintenance and reactive repairs across 32 boroughs.
The appointment could be worth up to £86m over seven years.
A second competition will be run for the £268m works element, which is being divided between firms offering specialist M&E maintenance services and firms carrying out general building and plumbing works.
Interested firms will be able to bid for two regional lots divided north and south by the Thames.
Under present plans a five-year call off contract agreement will start in April 2017, with an option to extend for two years. Shortlisted firms will be invited to submit tenders at the end of May.
