Builder and developer Seddon has secured its place on the Heating Servicing, Maintenance, Installation and Associated Services framework, made available by long-term partner, Procurement for All.
The framework will span a total of four years, covering 105 geographic areas of the UK. The Bolton builder bid successfully for Lot 1 work in the North West, North Wales and Midlands.
Seddon joins 24 other service providers, including Morgan Sindall and Warmer Energy Services, on the major framework. Clients include Metropolitan and Weaver Vale housing trusts.
Tenderers were evaluated and selected by panel members against a set of criteria that included value for money and their ability to meet deadlines.
Keith Armstrong, Procurement for All managing director, said: “We’re pleased that Seddon has secure a place on what proved to be a highly competitive framework. Seddon has been a long term partner for Procurement for All, delivering £5 million of work to our consortium over five years, and that longstanding relationship certainly worked in its favour in this instance.”
Robert Moss, Head of Mechanical Services at Seddon, said: “It was testament to our continued hard work that we secured this bid, which involves gas servicing on both domestic and communal systems and includes the facility for new installations. We’re eager to get started on the projects and showcase our speciality in this field.”
The framework is scheduled to begin from 19th September 2016 and will see Seddon add to the long list of maintenance and servicing work it has delivered across the regions.
