Skanska has been awarded a one-year extension to its existing maintenance contract with the Metropolitan Police in London.
The firm will look after the fabric of, and carry out mechanical and electrical engineering at over 300 Metropolitan Police buildings and sites, including everything from police stations to training centres.
The total value is around £12 million. The extension will run until April 2018 and builds on an existing relationship with the police force, which began in 2014.
Skanska Managing Director Katy Dowding added: “We will continue to work collaboratively with the Metropolitan Police and their facilities management integrator (KBR) to deliver an excellent service and best value for money.”
