Wetherby Building Systems is expanding its business operation with the launch of its first internal wall insulation (IWI) system, EpsiLine, to provide a complete through-wall insulation offering.
Specifically developed to meet an increasing demand to improve the energy efficiency of properties that need to maintain their exterior appearance, the EpsiLine system is one of the most flexible and cost effective IWI solutions on the market. Wetherby’s new system comprises a high performance rigid PIR insulation board, featuring a bi-laminate foil / kraft paper-facing, which is bonded to a tapered edge standard plasterboard. This pre-bonded solution means the insulation and plasterboard is installed in one operation, significantly reducing installation times when compared with alternative systems.
Offering installers and contractors complete flexibility during installation, the EpsiLine system is BBA approved (certificate number 15/5193) for use with the most diverse range of fixing techniques including dot and dab, direct fix, timber battens and metal furring. Providing a reliable long-term energy saving benefit, especially on domestic refurbishment projects, the new solution is ideal for solid wall properties where no cavity exists.
The EpsiLine system is available in a wide variety of thicknesses, to ensure there is an option to suit any project requirements, with a 15mm reveal board being the ideal solution for window and door reveals.
